Welcome and introduction:-

Good morning and a very warm welcome to everyone present here.

Respected Chief Guest, honoured dignitaries, respected doctors, nursing


officers, faculty members, students, and dear guests — it is a privilege to
gather together on this beautiful occasion of International Nurses Week.”

Every year, International Nurses Week is celebrated from 6 th May to 12th May
to recognize the invaluable contribution of nurses towards society and
healthcare services. The week concludes on 12 th May, the birth anniversary
of Florence Nightingale, who devoted her life to caring for humanity and
became an inspiration for nurses around the world.”

Nursing is not just a profession; it is a commitment to serve humanity with


compassion, patience, courage, and dedication. Nurses are the silent
warriors of healthcare who stand beside patients during their most difficult
moments, offering not only treatment but also hope, comfort, and emotional
strength.”

Whether it is day or night, emergency or crisis, nurses continue to serve


selflessly with a smile on their faces and kindness in their hearts. Their hands
heal, their words Comfort, and their presence gives strength to countless
lives.”

Today’s programme is a humble tribute to all the nurses whose tireless


efforts, sacrifices, and devotion make a difference every single day.”

On behalf of Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all
