A MAN (late 20s) opens his eyes suddenly.

Stillness.

He sits up. Breath slightly uneven.

INT. KITCHEN – MORNING

Milk pours into a glass.

His hand trembles.

The GLASS SLIPS—

CRASH.

Milk spreads across the floor.

He freezes. Stares at it.

INT. STAIRCASE – MORNING

He rushes down.

His hand STRIKES a FLOWER POT.

CRACK.

The pot shatters.

He stops. Looks back.

A faint sense of familiarity.

EXT. PARKING AREA – MORNING

He opens his car door.

Notices SCRATCHES on the side.

Runs his fingers along them.

Frowns.

EXT. TRAFFIC SIGNAL – MORNING

A BEGGAR watches him.

Unblinking.

The man avoids eye contact.

INT. OFFICE / COLLEGE – DAY

A PERSON bumps into him.

PERSON

Sorry.

The man nods. Walks on.

EXT. MULTI-STOREY BUILDING – DAY

He looks up.

A BLURRED FIGURE IN BLACK stands at the terrace edge.

About to jump.

MAN

Hey—!

He RUNS.

EXT. TERRACE – DAY

He reaches out—

INT. BEDROOM – MORNING

His eyes FLY OPEN.

Breathing heavy.

Silence.

He exhales in relief.

Checks his phone.

TIME: 8:00 AM

Confused.

INT. KITCHEN – MORNING

The glass is intact.

Milk untouched.

INT. STAIRCASE – MORNING

The flower pot is fine.

EXT. PARKING AREA – MORNING

Car spotless.

No scratches.

He forces a smile.

INT. CAR – MORNING

He swipes his ID.

ENTRY TIME: 8:00

Checks phone. Dashboard clock.

All read 8:00.

His smile fades.

INT. CAR – CONTINUOUS

He CALLS someone.

MAN

Hey…

your wall clock—

is it working?

VOICE (PHONE)

No.

A beat.

VOICE

It stopped last night.

MAN

When?

VOICE

Eight.

Silence.

VOICE (CONT’D)

Wait—

the milk glass just fell.

The line CRACKLES.

CALL ENDS.

INT. STAIRCASE – MORNING

He RUNS.

HITS the flower pot.

CRACK.

Same break.

EXT. PARKING AREA – MORNING

He reverses in panic—

ANOTHER CAR SCRAPES him.

Same scratches.

EXT. STREET – MORNING

The BEGGAR again.

Stares.

Holds eye contact one beat longer.

Says nothing.

Walks away.

VERSION A – INEVITABLE FATE ENDING

EXT. MULTI-STOREY BUILDING – DAY

He looks up.

Terrace EMPTY.

Relief.

Then doubt.

He RUNS.

EXT. TERRACE – DAY

Wind howls.

He steps closer to the edge.

Looks down.

FLASHES of the dream.

Notices his SHIRT—

Same as the blurred figure.

Realization.

His foot SLIPS—

CUT TO BLACK.

VERSION B – CANON ENDING (PERSPECTIVE TRAP)

EXT. MULTI-STOREY BUILDING – DAY

He looks up.

Terrace EMPTY.

Waits.

Nothing happens.

Relief spreads.

EXT. TERRACE – DAY

He walks up slowly.

Stands near the edge.

Looks down.

Nothing.

He smiles.

Turns to leave—

EXT. STREET – SAME TIME

ANOTHER MAN (mid 30s) RUNS toward the building.

Panicked.

FLASH CUTS: – Milk glass breaking

– Flower pot cracking

– Car scraping

– Beggar staring

All happening to THIS MAN.

EXT. TERRACE – DAY

The second man BURSTS in.

Sees the protagonist near the edge.

SECOND MAN

Don’t—!

He RUNS.

GRABS him.

ACCIDENTALLY PUSHES—

EXT. GROUND – DAY

The protagonist FALLS.

EXT. TERRACE – DAY

The second man looks down.

Frozen.

The shirt on the fallen body—

Same as the dream.

Same blur.

EXT. STREET – DAY

The BEGGAR looks up.
