NGỌC: Good morning all the teachers and students!
It’s such a pleasure to see so many bright smiles here today. I’m Bảo Ngọc, and joining
me as the MC today is ……………Huynh.
HUYNH: Good morning everyone!
Welcome to the English Club activity with a very special topic – “TET VIBES”
NGỌC: Tết – the most meaningful and joyful time of the year for Vietnamese people – is not
only about new clothes or lucky money but also about family reunion, traditions, love, and
hope for a brand new year.
HUYNH: And today, through music, drama, and exciting games, we will explore Tet in a very
special way – in English!
This program is organized by the English Group of Tran Hung Dao High School,
aiming to create a fun and practical English-speaking environment for our students.
NGỌC - HUYNH: So now, let’s enjoy the TET VIBES together!
🎶 II. PHẦN 1: KHỞI ĐỘNG – ÂM NHẠC
HUYNH: To warm up our program, what could be better than music and dance?
NGỌC: Right! Music is the fastest way to bring Tet closer to our hearts.
Huynh: Coming up first is a very familiar Tet song, full of love for our homeland.
Bảo Ngọc: And right after that, get ready to feel the energy with a modern dance performance
that represents the youth spirit of Tet.
Huynh: Please enjoy the song “Waiting for love” performed by Ha Vy and Quang Duong,
followed by the “New Dance” mashup performed by the Doremi Dance Group.
NGỌC - HUYNH: A big hand, please!
🎭 III. PHẦN 2: KỊCH NGHỆ - “A Foreigner’s First Tet – The Cultural Bridge”
NGỌC: Thank you so much for those wonderful performances!
They really brought Tet vibes to the stage.
HUYNH: Ladies and gentlemen, have you ever wondered…
What will Tet look like through the eyes of a foreigner?
NGỌC: Good question!
In the next part, we will meet a foreign friend who comes to Vietnam for the first time
during Tet holiday. Through conversations with students of Tran Hung Dao High School, he
will discover the beauty of Vietnamese Tet traditions.
HUYNH: During the play, there will be 10 to 15 interactive questions for the audience.
If you answer correctly, you will receive a lucky money envelope right away!
So please listen carefully and be ready to raise your hand.

🎮 IV. PHẦN 3: GAME - TET WISHES – TRUYỀN TIN
HUYNH: What a meaningful and interesting story! I’m sure that all of you have enjoyed
learning about Tet traditions in English
NGỌC: And now, it’s time to test your teamwork and listening skills with a fun game!
HUYNH: The game is called “TET WISHES – Whispering Messages”.
Before we start, let us explain the rules of the game.
NGỌC: Each class has chosen one representative with strong team spirit. All of you will be
divided into 3 teams, each team has 10 members, standing in a vertical line.
The MC will give a Tet wish in English to the first person in each line.
The message must be passed by whispering from one person to another.
The last person will run to the stage and read the message loudly into the microphone.
The fastest and most accurate team will win.
HUYNH: Are you curious about the prize for the winning team?
The winning team will receive lucky money envelopes with a higher value.
The other two teams will also receive lucky money envelopes, but with a smaller value.
NGỌC: However, if no team gets the correct message,
All three teams will receive lucky money envelopes with the same smaller value.
HUYNH: Are you ready? Let the game begin!
Kết thúc game: Let’s listen to the message from the last player.

Huynh: But don’t worry — this game is about fun, teamwork, and learning.
For your great spirit and participation, All three teams will receive lucky money
envelopes with the same smaller value.
NGỌC: Even when the message changes, the Tet spirit is still here.
Let’s give a big hand to all teams for your energy and enthusiasm!
