I.1 Introduction:
An organization study is systematic and comprehensive analysis of the
structure, functions, processes and performance to understand how it operates.
This study is typically conducted to gain insights into various aspects of the
organization, including its goals, culture, strengths, weaknesses, and overall
effectiveness. It often involves assessing the management hierarchy,
communication channels, workflows, and the allocation of resources.
1.2 Need and scope of organizational structure:
1. Understanding Organization Structure
Analyzing the hierarchy, departments, and reporting relationship with in the
organization.
2. Assessing Organization Culture:
Examining the values, beliefs and norms that shape the behavior of individuals
and groups within the organization.
3. Identifying Strengths and Weakness:
Evaluating the internal factors that contribute to the organization’s effectiveness
and areas where improvements are needed

Studying the leadership approach adopted by top management and its impact an

The organization study covers various important areas that help in
understanding the overall functioning and effectiveness of an organization. The
major areas of organization study are as follows
1. Organization Behavior
Organization behavior is the study of individual and group bahaviour within an
organization. It focuses on how employee behave in a work environment and
how their behavior affects organizational performance. This area help in
understanding employee motivation, leadership, teamwork, communication, and
interpersonal relationship. In an organization, effective organizational behave
leads to improved productivity and better employee satisfaction.
2. Organizational culture
Organizational culture refers to the shared values, beliefs, norms, and practice
followed by employees within an organization. It defines the employees interact
with each other and with external stakeholders. Organizational culture plays a
significant role in shaping employee attitudes, discipline, and work ethics. A
strong organizational culture promotes unity, commitment, and organizational
growth.
3. Organizational Ecology
Organizational ecology explains the impact of social, economic, technological,
and political factors on the functioning and survival pf an organization. It
studies how organizational adapt to changes in the external environment.
Factors such as government policies, market competition, availability of
materials, and economic conditions influence organizational performance and
sustainability.
4. Organizational psychology
Organizational psychology applies psychological principles to understand
human behavior in the workplace. It deals with employee selection, training,
motivation, performance appraisal, job satisfaction, and stress management.
This area helps organizations improve employee efficiency and maintain a
healthy environment.
5. Organizational theory
Organizational theory studies the structure and design of organizations. It
explains how tasks are dividend, authority is delegated, and coordination is
achieved. Organizational theory helps in understanding formal organizational
structure, decision-making processes, and management systems. It provides a
theoretical framework for analyzing organizational effectiveness.
1.5 Methodology of the organization study:
The methodology of the organization study explains the sources of data
collection and the methods adopted to conduct the study. The present
organization study at Bhanu Oil Industries Private Limited, challakere is
based on both primary and secondary data.
1. Primary data
Primary data for the study was collected form:

 Direct interaction with the management and employees


 Personal observation of organizational activities
 Discussion with staff regarding departmental functions and work
processes
This data helped in understanding the practical functioning of the organization.

The secondary data for the study was collected form:

1.6 Limitations of the organization study:


The organization study was carried out with sincere efforts, however, it is
subject to certain limitation. The major limitations of the study are as follows:
 The study was conducted for a limited period of time, which restricted
detailed analysis of all aspects of the organization.
 Some information could not be collected due to the busy schedule of
managers and employees.
 The organization was not willing to disable detailed finance information
due to confidentially reasons.
 The study is limited to one organization and hence the findings cannot be
generalized.
 The accuracy of the study depends on the information provided by the
employees and management of the organization.

BHANU OIL IDUSTRIES PRIVATE LIMITED was incorporated on 22 nd
march 2002. It is Established by K. A Balaji. The company was located in
Challakere, Chitradurga District, The manufacture was started in January 2003.
Bhanu oil industries private limited are manufactures of pure coconut oil.
Different verities of coconut oil like roosted, cold press and virgin are made.
They are packed in convenient small consumer packs like pouches, bottles and
cans for the purpose of using as editable oil. Manufactured in a modernized unit
at challakere. It is available at all over Karnataka districts of Chitradurga
.General stores of all sizes are supplied through van sales. Products are available
all over India at leading e-commerce portals like Amazon, Jiomart.

I had a highly informative and valuable learning experience during my visit to
Bhanu oil industry. I observed the complete production process, from cleaning
and processing seeds and nuts to refining them into high-quality edible oils. I
gained insights into quality control measures, the efficient use of machinery,
and the importance of maintaining hygiene and safety throughout the
production process.

The visital so provided a clear understanding of supply chain management,


teamwork, and time management in industrial operations. I appreciated the
Environment and safety practices followed by the industry to insurers possible
production.
Overall, the visit was both inspiring and educational, enhancing my practical
knowledge and motivating me to explore opportunities in food processing,
quality management, and industrial production.
