How I solved the problem ...
Google search ... [Link] library

o [Link] library belongs to AOCL libraries
Google search ... AOCL libraries
• I got [Link] page informing that:
o AOCL is a set of numerical libraries optimized for AMD processors based on the AMD “Zen”
core architecture and generations. Supported processor families are AMD EPYC™, AMD Ryzen™, and
AMD Ryzen™ Threadripper™ processors. The tuned implementations of industry-standard math
libraries enable rapid development of scientific and high-performance computing applications.
Google search ... AOCL download
• I got [Link] page
• at the end of the page I found the link [Link]
[Link]?filename=AOCL_Windows-[Link]
• I downloaded AOCL_Windows-[Link] and install it
• installation directory contains [Link] in LP64 subdirectory
• installation did not resolved the problem with failing Solve step during Creo Ansys Simulation analysis
searching for the AMD name in the Creo [Link] installation
• installation directory ... C:\PTC\Creo9_060
• I found C:\PTC\Creo9_060\Creo [Link]\Common Files\applications\ansys\ansys\bin\winx64\BLAS\AMD
directory
• AMD directory contains single file ... [Link]
finding the solution
• I renamed AMD directory to AMDxxxxx
• I started Creo [Link] and tested Creo Ansys Simulation analysis - Solve step failed showing following
window telling me that [Link] is missing, now
• so I thought I would add the missing library to the AMD directory
• I renamed AMDxxxxx directory back to AMD
• I saved [Link] from LP64 subdirectory (AOCL installation) to AMD directory
• I started Creo [Link] and tested Creo Ansys Simulation analysis - analysis was finished successfully
• the same solution works in Creo [Link]
