Pollution
Introduction
There are different forms of pollution such as air,
water, soil, and the noise pollution. Among them, air
and water pollution are the most perilous because
they are the ones, which have the direct effect on
the human health and daily life. The outcome of
inhaling the polluted air can be the development of
such problems as asthma, allergies, and other
serious disease. Similarly, the contaminated water
can be contaminated and lead to injury on aqua life
and plants.
To this day, the level of pollution is still high because
of such aspects as vehicle emissions, industrial waste,
cutting down of forests, and mishandling of wastes.
These not only are damaging to the environment but
also affect human health. Hence, it is crucial that it is
needed by people, firms, and states to toil combine
to decrease pollution and make the world healthier
future.
Rising Pollution: A Global Concern
There is still a significant problem with air pollution,
particularly in cities. Delhi and Indore cities continue
to suffer moderate and high pollution rates.
According to reports in the early years of 2026, the
Air Quality Index of Indore was still above safe levels;
primarily because of the vehicle emissions and the
road dust. This demonstrates the role played by daily
processes like transport and construction in pollution.

Even though there has been a partial change in air

quality in Delhi over the past few years, pollution
remains a grave issue. Prolonged exposure to
contaminated air may result in serious health
problems and conditions like lung injuries,
cardiovascular diseases, and difficulty in breathing.

Another increasing problem is water pollution.

Recently, the National Green Tribunal ordered
Himachal Pradesh to impose measures on those
industries which pollute rivers. The industrial wastes
released into water bodies do not only destroy
aquatic organisms, but also the human beings
relying on such rivers as drinking and agricultural
material.
There is also increasing waste pollution. Poorly
controlled landfills are also polluting the environment
in such cities as Ajmer with harmful gases and
chemicals released into the atmosphere and ground.
One of the largest contributors to the pollution of
the cities is improper waste management.

There have also been some concerns over the so

called clean fuels in the recent studies. Although
they are deemed safe, they may produce small
harmful particles which get to deep into the lungs.
This brings out the requirement of conducting more
research and safer alternatives.

Pollution is not only a health crisis but also an

environmental problem. Individuals who reside in
polluted regions usually experience stress, breathing
difficulties, and poor livelihood. It can even reduce
life expectancy when exposed to it over a long
period.
Causes of Pollution
The key sources of pollution in India are:

Vehicle emissions
Industrial waste
Construction dust
Burning of fossil fuels
Poor waste management

The high rate of population growth and

urbanization also adds to the level of
pollution. The greatest contribution to this
is the industrial activities then
transportation and other human activities.
Solutions to Pollution
The combination of individual and governmental
action can help in reducing pollution. Air pollution
can be mitigated by using electric vehicles, clean
sources of energy such as solar and wind, and using
the public means of transport. The industries are
obliged to dispose of their waste first and abide by
the stringent environmental regulations.

Waste management is also very critical. Individuals

ought to use less plastic, recycle and dispose of dry
and wet waste. Water pollution can be controlled by
treating sewage water and ensuring that toxic
substances do not find their way into rivers.

Strict laws should be enforced by the government

and the systems of monitoring should be improved.
Simultaneously, it is important to create awareness
among individuals. Such basic measures as planting
trees, energy conservation, and environmentally
friendly behavior can do a lot of good.
Conclusion
To sum up, pollution is one of the most critical
environmental issues in 2026, which impacts nature
and human life. Even with some positive changes,
there are still certain problems such as air pollution,
water pollution, and garbage management,
particularly in such developing nations as India.
Nowadays, pollution is not only an environmental
problem but also a health one, social problem. The
primary causes are human activities like
industrialization, transportation and inadequate
waste management. The government has put
policies in place to regulate the pollution but they
are yet to be implemented and people are not even
aware of them.
Everyone should become responsible and take
action. Through joint efforts and active efforts we
can minimize pollution and create a clean, healthy
and more sustainable future to the future
generations.
