ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT


The Department of Computational Intelligence at SRM IST provides a dynamic academic environment that equips students
with knowledge in cutting-edge domains such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Software Engineering. Our mission is to
nurture students in academic excellence, enhance their industry exposure, and prepare them for exceptional career opportunities. The
Department boasts multidisciplinary expertise in diverse research areas, including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data
Science, Neural Networks, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Robotics, Tamil Computing, and Renewable Energy. Renault
Nissan Technology and Business Centre India (RNTBCI) has generously donated a Renault Kiger to the Department’s Centre of
Excellence for Agentic Twins. This support strengthens our flagship project, “Intuitive AI in Car”, enabling students and faculty to
pioneer next-generation AI-powered automotive innovations.
ABOUT THE FDP
This Faculty Development Program focuses on the pivotal role of Intellectual Property Resource Person
Rights (IPR) in fostering innovation. Designed for educators and researchers, the
program aims to enhance understanding of how IPR can drive progress in academic
