and Technology Campus, currently enrolled in the academic year 2025-2027 email

the summer internship placement policy. Despite missing the timeline to opt in for
the placement process.

I would like to request to participate formally. I understand and agree to adhere to all the
requirements outlined in the placement policy.

(Applicable for all UG & PG students)

About the Summer Internship Program (SIP)


● SIP is a great opportunity to gain real-world corporate experience.
● Helps students build networks and increase chances of securing a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO). ●
Mandatory for all eligible UG & PG programs; non-completion may affect final placement eligibility.
● Ideal for pre-final year students to gain relevant experience for final placements.

Student Eligibility Criteria

Academic Requirements

● Minimum 60% class attendance & participation in last semester exams.


● All fees should be cleared till date.
● Active participation on Student Hub.
● Updated and accurate resume on Student Hub.

Key Internship Guidelines


● Mandatory Duration: 8-10 weeks.
● Alternative Option: If a student does not secure an internship, they must sign up for an Academic
Project within the first two weeks of SIP tenure.
● Flexibility in Internship: Students to apply for diverse roles beyond their specific domain.
Openness to internships in different locations for better professional growth.
● Attendance Requirement: Active participation in preparatory sessions, including training boot
camps and pre-placement talks, is mandatory.

Tech Internship Specifics

● Placement Window: Tech students will be eligible to appear for internship interviews up to 20
days prior to the official Internship start date.
● Mandatory Training: In the event a Tech student is unable to secure an industry internship by
this deadline, they are required to complete Mandatory Coding Blocks Training and submit a
technical Internship Project to fulfill their curriculum requirements.

Internship Policy

1+ Offer Policy

1. If a student secures a non-paid offer, they will be signed out of non-paid internship opportunities
immediately and for paid internship opportunities, they will be signed out after 7 days of their
internship begins.
2. If a student secures a paid offer, they will be signed out of all internship opportunities
immediately.
3. Once the student joins the Internship, they are not allowed to switch to any other Internship.

Additional Policy Guidelines

● Offer Acceptance: If a student refuses an offer, they will be considered placed and cannot apply
for other internships.
● Internship Adjustments: If an internship is canceled, postponed indefinitely, or shortened,
students may apply for other opportunities.
● Paid vs. Unpaid Internships: Companies decide stipend policies; paid internships are not guaranteed.
● Opt-Out Option: Students must take prior approval and fill out an official opt-out form. Progress will
still be tracked. The student is required to submit his/her offer letter and complete an opt-out form for
official confirmation. Such students are required to submit their Summer Internship Project, will
be assigned mentors and their progress will be actively monitored.

Note: Internship/Academic Projects are mandatory for all eligible students to be eligible for
Final Placements

Professional Conduct & Interview Guidelines


● Formal Attire: Business formals are mandatory for interviews (virtual/in-person). ● Interview
Attendance: Missing more than 2 interview rounds will result in automatic placement and removal
from further opportunities.
● Professional Behavior: Any misconduct with HR, company officials, or Sunstone employees can lead
to disqualification.
● Remote Internships: Students must follow company work schedules and treat remote internships
as full-time roles.

Dress Code for Internships


● Men: Dark-colored suit, light-colored shirt, tie (as per company norms).
● Women: Trousers/skirts with a blazer or single-colored saree with a border (as per company

norms). Internship Schedule & University Guidelines

● Internships will follow the University Academic Calendar to avoid class and exam
clashes. ● Start and end dates will be as per University Guidelines.
● Missing academic sessions for internships is not allowed.
● For further guidance, contact your Campus Placement Coordinator, Corporate Relations (CRC),
or Faculty.

Penalties for Non-Compliance


Penalties for non-compliance with the placements policy will be enforced as per university guidelines
and may affect final placement eligibility.
