Moving Up Ceremony Script
Introduction
Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the
people who prepare for it today.
Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Completion day is always a
day of rejoicing for it marks the conclusion of an educational journey and
the commencement of another more uncertain and more difficult part of
man’s quest for a better life and future. Truly, today signifies the
culmination of hard work in the relentless pursuit of knowledge -
knowledge that will enable a person to embrace opportunities and take on
challenges with clear vision and purpose.
Good afternoon and welcome to the 17 th Moving Up Ceremony of Pili
Elementary School with the theme, “Filipino Kindergarten Completers:
Ready to Move Forward Equipped with Knowledge, Skills and Character
(Mga Magtatapos sa Kindergarten: Handang Magpatuloy sa Paghakbang
na may Kaalaman, Kakayahan at Mabuting Kaasalan).”
Processional
Ladies and gentlemen, the entrance of the Completers, Parents,
Barangay Officials, PTA Officials, Teachers and Guests for their
Processional.
Doxology
To bless this occasion, let us seek God’s guidance as we continue
with this momentous affair. May I call on the selected Kindergarten pupils
to lead us all in a Prayer through a Doxology.
Philippine National Anthem and Singing of the SDO Albay Hymn
Please remain standing.
This time, let us show our deference by standing still as we sing the
Philippine National Anthem with Mam Roselle B. Hernan, Grade 1 Teacher,
conducting.
This is to be followed by the Singing of the SDO Albay Hymn, Mam
Norlie S. Balasta, Kindergarten Teacher, conducting.

Welcome Address
At this juncture, let us be emboldened with the Welcome Address to
be delivered by one our Kindergarten pupils. Let us put our hands
together for Maria Sofia B. Bercilla.

momentous affair.

Now, let us witness as the Kindergarten - Apple pupils give us an

Message of the Secretary of the Department of Education,
Regional Director and Schools Division Superintendent
To do the honors of Reading the Message of the Secretary of the
Department of Education, Sonny M. Angara, Message of the Regional

It is a proof that the completers had gained the gift of knowledge. Our
dear completers, we now come to your much awaited event - the

Today’s affair is not complete without being graced by a special
woman of sincere service and action who will deliver her words of
encouragement and wisdom. To know more about her, may we have on
stage Mam Jessica B. Bernal, Kindergarten teacher, to do the honors of
introducing to us the Guest Speaker in today’s momentous event. A round

patience and the passion to reach for your greatest dream. Fight for your
