This year — 2026 — marks a milestone the entire world of Ananda Marga has
waited for with deep reverence.
The 105th birthday of our beloved Gurudev — Shrii Shrii Ánandamúrti ji —
Baba.
On this very full-moon day, in the year 1921, in the serene town of Jamalpur in
Bihar, a great soul descended upon this earth. Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar — who
would come to be known by millions simply as Baba — came with a singular
mission: to serve, to awaken, and to love without condition.
In 1955, he founded Ananda Marga — The Path of Bliss — built on one
unshakeable ideal: Átmamokhsártham jagaddhitáya ca — for
self-realisation and the welfare of the entire world.
And today, seventy years on, that mission is alive — not just in India, but in
every corner of this earth."

been quietly transforming communities for decades — the birthday of the Guru
was honoured through renewed commitment to service.
In Australia and New Zealand, communities gathered for kiirtan, collective
meditation, and reflection.
In Brazil, Haiti, and across the Americas, devotees united in one voice.
And in Southeast Asia — Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and beyond —
Baba's message rang out under the same full moon.
Every gathering — large or small, formal or intimate — was vibrating with the
same feeling: We are one family. And this night belongs to Baba."

"But Ananda Marga does not celebrate with words alone.
On this birthday, we asked ourselves Baba's most important question: 'Who
needs us today?'
And the answer came — in every city, every town, every village where our units
stood.
Free health camps were organised across units — bringing medical care to
people who cannot afford it, people who would otherwise go without.
Blood donation drives were held — and those who gave their blood to save the
lives of strangers were honoured at special felicitation ceremonies. Because
Baba taught us: the highest form of giving is when you give a part of
yourself.
In Tatanagar, cataract patients — people living in a world slowly going dark —
received free goggles and other essential medical aid, because sight is a right,
not a privilege.
Free medicines were distributed to the sick and the poor, because Baba's ideal
of a Neo-Humanist society means nobody is left behind — not the elderly, not
the disabled, not the forgotten.
This is not charity. This is the recognition that every human being carries
the divine within them. This is Narayan Seva."
🎬 SEGMENT 4 — Food, Clothing & Essential Distribution (3:30 – 4:20)

"Because feeding someone who is hungry is one of the most sacred acts a
human being can perform.
This Ánanda Púrńimá, thousands of Narayans were fed — not just a token
meal, but nourishing, wholesome food prepared with devotion.
In Gwalior alone, over 2,000 people sat together and ate — puri, sabji, sweets
— as equals, as family.
In Begusarai, over 400 Narayans were served. In dozens of other units across
India and abroad, similar scenes unfolded simultaneously.
Clothing was distributed. Umbrellas were given — because even protection
from the sun and rain should not be a luxury for those living on the margins.
Fruits, refreshments, saplings — the generosity of Ananda Marga poured out in
every direction.
And what strikes you most, looking at the photos, is not the numbers. It is the
faces. The dignity in receiving. The joy in giving. The erasure of the invisible
wall between the giver and the one given to.
Because in Ananda Marga — the one serving and the one being served
see God in each other."

heartfelt slogans in Kannada, the powerful rhythmic thunder of Tandava dance,
and waves of devotional chanting that stopped people in their tracks.
Because the Shobha Yatra is not just a procession. It is a conversation with
the world.
We raised our voices — nare lagaye — against the poison of casteism. We said,
loudly and clearly: every human being is equal. No caste. No hierarchy. No
discrimination.
We spoke about saving water — because no spirituality is complete without
responsibility to this earth.
We introduced people to the philosophy of Neo-Humanism — Baba's
revolutionary vision of a world where love extends not just to humans, but to
every living being, to the planet itself.
We walked through neighbourhoods, through markets, through places where
ordinary people live their ordinary lives — and we said: there is a better world
possible. And it begins with how we treat each other."

the science of body and mind, were performed with precision and spirit.
