Exercise #2: External Audit

Conducting a PESTLE Analysis of Your University

Objective: To analyze the external environment of your university using the


PESTLE framework (Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Legal, and
Environmental factors) and identify opportunities and threats that may influence
its operations and strategic direction.

Instructions:

1. Work individually.
2. Research and discuss factors in each PESTLE category that affect your
university.
3. Identify at least two (2) key factors per category.
4. Indicate whether each factor represents an Opportunity (O) or a Threat (T)
for the university.
5. Present your analysis in a table format.
