Course Outcomes: Through this course students should be able to

CO1 :: Understand the key concepts of structural dynamics, such as natural frequencies, mode
shapes, damped and undamped systems.

CO2 :: Understand the behavior of structure under dynamic loading conditions

CO3 :: Establish equations of motion for the analysis of SDOF and MDOF systems under dynamic
loading conditions.
CO4 :: Use the knowledge of earthquake engineering practices applied to real life problems with
respect to IS:1893-2002 codal provision

CO5 :: Evaluate design parameters for the seismic analysis of masonry and RCC buildings

CO6 :: Sketch the ductile detailing of structures for seismic resistance as per Indian standards
