Warm-up

1. What time did you go to bed last night? What time do you
usually go to bed?
Example answer: I went to bed at midnight last night. I usually
go to bed at 10.

2. What time did you wake up today? What time do you usually
wake up?
Example answer: I woke up at 6 today. I usually wake up at this
time.

Eating Routines
1. Do you eat breakfast in the morning? If so, what do you
usually have?
=>(You can use have as a general verb to talk about eating and
drinking in English.)
Example answer: Yes, I always eat breakfast. I usually have a
sandwich and a coffee.

2. How many times do you eat per day, including snacks?


(Snacks are small amounts of food that you eat between meals.
An apple or a candy bar can be a snack.)
Example answer: Including snacks, I think I eat five or six times
per day.

3. What time do you usually have dinner?


Example answer: It depends on traffic, but I usually have dinner
between 5 and 6 p.m.

4. How often do you go out to eat? (You can also ask, "How often

=>(Call it a day means that you decide to stop working at the end
of the day. You can say, "I usually call it a day at 4 o'clock.")

13. What time do you usually get home after [work/school]? (Get
home means arrive at home.)

15. Do you make your bed every morning? (Make your bed
means to tidy your bed after you get up.)

17. In your home, who is responsible for doing the dishes, doing
the laundry, and vacuuming?

Evening Routines
18. What do you usually do after dinner on weekdays?
(Weekdays are work and school days. In most places in the world,
the weekdays are Monday to Friday.

19. What do you like to do on Friday night?

20. Do you ever go out on [worknights/school nights]? If so, how


often? What do you do? (These are nights you need to sleep
before going to work or school the next day.)

21. How much time do you spend on your phone every day?
What do you use it for?
22. How often do you actually call your friends or family
members?

23. How often does your phone battery die? (This means you
allow your phone battery to go to 0%.)

Weekend Routines
24. What time do you wake up and what time do you go to bed
on the weekend?
