Topic: "Some people believe that online education is as effective as traditional classroom
learning. To what extent do you agree or disagree?"
Today, as the Internet becomes more accessible than ever before, E learning has exploded. With the advent of
online courses, some people say that online education have become as productive as conventional classroom.
While there is no denying the benefits of virtual learning over the ones classroom model, I personally being
taught face to face by actual teacher is an experience that can never be completely replaced and bring more
some effective ways than other side.
On the one hand, learning on the Internet is superior to learning in a classroom in many ways. Firstly, web-
based classes help learners overcome time constraints and geographical boundaries, which is particularly
helpful for people in rural and remotes areas where schools and teachers are scarce. This means that it
contribute a part of deleting illiteracy which is speard out to mountainous area, as a result, is improved
people’s [Link], it brings convenient for teachers and students. For instance, teachers and students can
interact with each other on the computer, convenient for searching for documents, illustrating, and discussing
immediately. Furthermore, students who are slow learners can easily re-listen to lectures so they can
understand more about lessons.
On the other hand, it is hard to see the conventional classroom ever ceasing to exist. One of the reason simply
that they need to have classroom dynamics that a virtual enviroment cannot [Link] example, the
interactive activities and live dicussion in traditional classroom allow students to improve their interpersonal
skills which is difficult to recreat in online courses where two way interaction is rare. Additionally, it prevent
students from distraction. Some students learn online where easily to do other things, teachers do not know
what they do while [Link] the contratry, learning in traditional classroom assumes that students could
be focus on the lesson in physical class where teachers control their attention and their mood so they can pay
attention and have a effective lesson.
In conclusion, while online learning brings some productive aspects, the latter by no means less useful.
