Degrees of comparison are used to compare people, things, or ideas.
Positive: no comparison
→ She is tall.
Comparative: compares two things
→ She is taller than her sister.
Superlative: compares more than two
→ She is the tallest in the class.
Rules:
Short adjectives: add -er / -est
→ small → smaller → smallest
Long adjectives: use more / most
→ beautiful → more beautiful → most beautiful
Irregular forms:
→ good → better → best
→ bad → worse → worst
