Reconciliation
Reconciliation is a concept that focuses on improving the relationship between Aboriginal
and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and non-Indigenous Australians. This has included raising
debates, introducing programs and actions on topics such as discrimination, racism and
prejudice, historical acceptance, national identity, equality and unity.

Research the topic using non-fiction texts and the Internet. Draft your report using the template
below. Remember to include a description of the main points of this topic, its purpose, its
impact, key dates and names.

Title: 

Opening Statement – (Include a lead-in sentence to state the topic and capture interest,
a short description of the subject and a definition and/or classification).
