Introduction
Teacher: Good morning, class! How are you today?
Before we start, let’s get to know each other. What is your name? [Call on 2–3 students to
answer.] Very good!
Activity 1: Group the Means of Transport
Teacher: Now, let’s play a sorting game! Look at these pictures of transport.
Where do they go? On the road, in the sky, on the track, or on the water?
[Show slides, call on students to answer.]
Great job! Cars go on the road. Airplanes fly in the sky. Trains run on the track. Boats sail on
the water.
Activity 2: Are You Hungry?
Teacher: Let’s talk about food. When I say ‘Are you hungry?’, you answer:
‘Yes, I am’ or ‘No, I’m not.’
Let’s practice together! [Ask 2–3 students.] Very good!
Activity 3: Some or Any
Teacher: Now, let’s practice using some and any. Listen carefully:
- ‘There aren’t ___ eggs left at home.’ Which one do we use? [Wait for answer: any]
- ‘I would like to have ___ cookies.’ Answer? [some]
Excellent! Let’s finish the rest together as a class.
Activity 4: Complete the Sentences (Seasons & Weather)
Teacher: Look at the sentences.
- In _____ we go to the beach. The weather is _____.
Who wants to try? [Student answers.]
Good! Let’s complete the others. We have four seasons: summer, autumn, winter, and
spring.
Activity 5: Present Continuous Tense
Teacher: Now let’s practice the Present Continuous Tense. We use it to talk about things
happening right now.
Example: ‘I am teaching.’ ‘You are listening.’
Let’s try with some pictures:
- The boy ___ playing basketball. [Students: is]
- They ___ eating pizza. [Students: are]
- She ___ reading a book. [Students: is]
Great! Remember: Subject + am/is/are + verb + -ing.

Look at this picture. The cat is on the table. [Show example.]
The dog is under the chair. [Show example.]
Let’s try together!
- The ball is ___ the box. [Students: in]
- The bird is flying ___ the tree. [Students: over]
- The book is ___ the bag. [Students: inside]
Teacher: Great! Prepositions help us describe position and place.
Activity 7: Tony’s Daily Routine (Comprehension)
Teacher: Meet Tony! He’s a teacher. Let’s listen to his daily routine.
[Read short version of the text.]
Now, let’s check your understanding.

1. What’s his name? [Tony!]
2. Where does he work? [At school.]
3. Is he thin? [No, he’s a little fat.]

Perfect! Let’s try more.
