She was the second housemaid, she wasn’t beautiful and she hasn’t
any friend. Her past wa s’t good she was a thief but now she is good

Because he know that his uncle was a bad man he worried that he
my be trying to get reven on hishis sister by giving this unlucky
diamond to Rachel
3-What were Herncastle’s plans for the diamond?
The diamond would be kept in a bank and he would send a letter to
Franklin’s father every year to prove that he was still alive. If there
was no letter from him, it would mean that he was killed then he had
to take the diamond to Amesterdam and have it up into separate
diamonds
4-What letter did M\r. Blake receive eight months ago?
He received a letter asking him to comeand help him make his will
because he was dying.
