Problem
- Random black screens: The display cuts out multiple times for ~30 seconds. In some cases, the
screen stays completely black and the PC becomes unresponsive, requiring a restart. This happens
not only under load, but also when the PC is idle (e.g., on the desktop).
- Crashes under graphical load: Programs that use the GPU crash immediately after such a black
screen, while lighter programs without GPU load continue working. This points to a GPU issue.
- Rare red screen: In some cases, a completely red screen appears during heavier load, but this
happens less frequently.
What I have already tried:
1. Full Windows reinstallation (factory reset)
2. Completely removed and reinstalled graphics drivers using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller)
3. Checked hardware: tested different DisplayPort cables and connected PC directly to a wall outlet
4. Applied underclocking to GPU and VRAM
Suspected cause:
- Defect in the graphics card
- Or an unstable power supply
