Common Issues During Class Test & Question Bank Creation
1. Question Bank Creation Issues
Questions copied from browsers, HTML pages, websites, or Excel may cause formatting
problems.
Inconsistent text formatting affects readability and system compatibility.
Extra spaces before or after questions can lead to upload errors.
Images, emojis, and icons are not supported and may cause display issues.
Lack of uniform formatting results in improper question display.
2. Guidelines for Preparing Questions
Copy questions only from MS Word to maintain proper formatting.
Maintain consistent font, alignment, and spacing.
Remove extra spaces before and after each question.
Avoid using images, emojis, icons, or unsupported elements.
Verify the question format before uploading the question bank.
3. Test Scheduling Issues
Incorrect From / To date and time may create confusion for students.
Wrong duration or number of days may prevent students from accessing the test.
Improper scheduling may affect the availability of the 'Take CA' (Class Assessment)
option.
4. Student Test Attempt Process
Students access the test using the 'Take CA' button in the student application.
The test is available only during the scheduled date and time.
Students must click on each question, which will redirect them to the answer upload
page.
5. Question Format Issue During Test
If students are unable to click on a question or the app does not redirect to the answer
upload page, it usually indicates that the question was uploaded in an incorrect format.
In such cases, please send an email to the exam support team.
The team will roll back the class test (if it has already started).
After rollback, you can create a new class test and upload the questions again in the
proper format.
6. Answer Script Upload Issues
Students can upload only Images or PDF files.
File size must be less than 4 MB.
Videos, PPT, Excel, or other file formats are not allowed.
Uploading unsupported formats may result in submission failure.
7. Test Submission
After uploading all answers, students must click 'Finish' to complete the test.
If 'Finish' is not clicked, the test may remain unsubmitted.
Conclusion
Proper question formatting, correct test scheduling, and clear instructions to both
faculty and students are essential to ensure the smooth conduct of class tests and to
avoid technical issues.
