# ANCHORING SCRIPT

## Main Stage Program – 2nd May Event

## 5:30 PM to 5:40 PM — Keeravani Entry and Welcome

Anchor 1:
Good evening everyone, and a very warm welcome to all our respected guests, organizers,
performers, and audience members. Today is a special evening for all of us, and we are truly
honored to have such a wonderful gathering here.

Anchor 2:
At this moment, we warmly invite our special guest, Keeravani, to the venue. Please welcome
him with applause as we begin this beautiful evening with respect and celebration.

Anchor 1:
As Keeravani makes his entry, we request our young artists to kindly line up on both sides and
welcome him with flowers. We also invite a Shoi member to do the boron and receive him with
warmth and respect.

Anchor 2:
Thank you. Please continue your applause as we now move toward the ceremonial beginning of
the program.

## 5:40 PM to 5:50 PM — Lighting the Lamp

Anchor 1:
Every auspicious program begins with light, hope, and blessings. We now move to one of the
most sacred moments of the evening — the lighting of the lamp.

Anchor 2:
We respectfully invite our dignitaries and stage team to kindly come forward for the ceremonial
lamp lighting. May this light guide us toward a joyful and graceful evening.

Anchor 1:
Let us all join in the spirit of positivity as we witness the beginning of tonight’s celebration.

## 5:50 PM to 6:05 PM — Keeravani Felicitation


Anchor 2:
We now come to a very special moment of the evening — the felicitation of Keeravani. It is an
honor for us to celebrate his remarkable contribution to Indian music.

Anchor 1:
Before we begin the felicitation, we request Keeravani to kindly take his seat on the sofa and
enjoy a small refreshment. We also request Praloy to hand over the snacks at the appropriate
moment.

Anchor 2:
We will now play a short AV presentation highlighting Keeravani’s achievements and his journey
