2 PREPARATION PRIOR INITIAL COOLING DOWN LOCN MOB RU R/U 1 HP Rod BOPE HP Casing
- Follow hook up lines through pump manifold/ standpipe manifold Valve
as per each rig configuration to connect mud pump and water tank.
To check pressure, hook up tubing and annulus side for bleeding and
pumping means. Then bleed-off pressure to Flow Back Tank and
pumping through annulus:
- Conduct pressure test to lines with 650 psi in 10 mins
- Install pressure gauge at Sample Cock
- Line up Casing Valves:
1. CV1 to manifold as bleed line
2. CV2 to mud pump
- Line up to Tubing String through master valve on production line
If only one CV is functioning, CV shall be functioned as bleed
off to Flow Back Tank and as pumping line from mud pump.
Stop operation if all CVs are not functioning, discuss with
Team Leader.
3 INITIAL COOLING DOWN WITH WATER WO PROD WLKLBHD WLKLBHD 4 HP Rod BOPE HP Casing
- All observation must be conducted in min. 30 mins Valve
- Open valve at tubing and casing to read SICP & SITP
1. If SITP & SICP = 0 psi, open casing valve and conduct flow check
for 30 mins, and if no flow after 30 mins observation, fill up the well
until full. If well loss pump down 1x annulus volume or maximum
100 bbls water with 2 bpm. Then ensure water on hand 100 bbls.
2. If SITP & SICP > 0 psi. Bullhead from the annulus side, at least 2x
hole volume for well that unable to hold column of fluid. Bullhead
from the annulus side, with 1.1x hole volume in case the well can 02/24/2025
maintain full column of fluid.
> If SITP & SICP = 0 psi, ensure water on hand 180 bbls
> If SITP & SICP still above 0 psi, suspend the execution due to
killing problem

ROD STRING.
- Look at sucker rod string previous tally, determine which shear
coupling used, apply step load below shear coupling rating to avoid
shearing off shear coupling pin while pumping through annulus or
tubing. If not success proceed with pulling with maximum overpull.
- Maximum overpull will be based on 80% of Beban Kerja yang
Diizinkan of SKPI or smalllest sucker rod connection size laod rating,
whichever is lower:
> 3/4" - 39,700 lbs
> 7/8" - 54,100 lbs
> 1" - 70,400 lbs
- Ensure Rod BOPE could shut in well with existing and proposed
condition of sucker rod size on (3/4", 7/8", 1-1/4", 1-1/2") prior
pulling out sucker rod string. Conduct pressure test to 650 psi for 5
mins, if failed use MOCP-19-0019 & RA-16-1C24 to continue
operation and ensure all safeguards have been in placed and
verified.
- Continuous fill up with water w/ SPR must be done during this step
- Prepare FOSV with crossover to Rod BOP & rod cutter
- Follow sucker rod drop procedure (SOP Single Barrier) if there is
flow from inside tubing
- If found sucker rod unscrewed, try re-screw in with same size
sucker rod with good/ new condition.
- If found sucker rod parted/ sheared off on 20 klbs shear coupling
on tubing 3-1/2" or bigger, use overshot from Wira Insani to fish out
remaining rod and pump. If tubing is 2-7/8" or smaller, no fishing
tools from WI is available.
- If found sucker sheared off on 40 klbs shear coupling or max
overpull reached without any progress, secure and suspend well.

- Follow carefully program recommendation and ensure if there is
any specific instruction on sucker rod size configuration.
- Prepare FOSV with crossover to Rod BOP & rod cutter
- Continuous fill up with water w/ SPR must be done during this step.
- Ensure water on hand prior continue this step (similar with volume
requirement on step 3).
- If sucker rod size above insert pump or plunger is 3/4" or smaller,
don't install shear coupling. Ensure to use shear coupling 40klbs for
sucker rod size 7/8" and above.
- Test rod BOPE test. Failed to conduct rod BOP Test has been
covered with MOCP-18-0019. Ensure safeguards are in place.
- Ensure additional Rod BOP installed and ensure Rod BOPE could
shut in well with proposed condition of sucker rod size on (3/4",
7/8", 1-1/4", 1-1/2"). Conduct pressure test to 650 psi for 5 mins, if
failed use MOCP-19-0019 & RA-16-1C24 to continue operation and
ensure all safeguards have been in placed and verified.
- Pressure test tubing string after insert pump set on seating nipple
with 300 psi for 5 mins, if found leak, trobleshoot problem refer to rig
hub handbook.
- Ensure travelling valve space out from the standing valve 2" - 3" on
insert pump and 4 - 6" on tubing pump. Pay attention of program
recommendation since some cases PE design specific pump spacing.
