Emergency Room Module
STEP1. Double-click on the Emergency Room icon and the window appears as shown below.
NOTE: Emergency Room Icon located at Transaction Windows
There are SEVEN (11) special tool bar icons that you can manipulate, namely :
1. Log Patient 7. Delivery
2. ER Log 8. Adjustment
3. Patient Record 9. I/O Transaction
4. Exam Result 10. ER Stock
5. Report 11. Medical/Equipment
6. Query

LOG PATIENT – used to admit a patient in the emergency room
department; entries are made to record the patient’s personal
data (inclusive of admission details).
USING LOG PATIENT( Admit NEW)
STEP1. Click on the Log Patient icon. The
Basic Information Sheet (BIS) window
BASIC INFORMATION SHEET WINDOW
appears. Input information for the
New or Old Patient.
Note: There are two (2) classifications for
Log Patient (1) New Patient and (2) Old
Patient (old patient with previous record).
STEP2. Click on the Retrieve button to
proceed or ALT-R for the shortcuts on
the keyboard, or Cancel button to
defer the transaction.

STEP3. Click on the OK button to add the new patient
record, or Cancel button to defer the
transaction. Clicking OK it will be directed to
Emergency Login Window and ready to fill-up
(green box are mandatory and the (Date of
Birth).
Confirmation box appears

STEP4. Click on the Save
button icon and click OK
to save the data of the Emergency Login Window
patient.

STEP5. Click on the Log Patient icon to continue
the admission. Click on the scrollbar to
complete the details.
ER LOG PATIENT DETAILS include
data of the following:
Patient Age (editable)
Type of Accommodation
Type of Service
Registration Date
Registration Time
Condition On Arrival
Resident Doctor
Remarks Drop down list
Notified Proper Authority
Brought by
Accident/Injury
Informant
Source of Payment (1,2,3)
Discharge
Note: Use drop down list to manipulate some details.
STEP6. Click on the Save icon and click OK to
proceed. The patient now officially
admitted to Emergency and the
Emergency Record Window appears.
EMERGENCY RECORD WINDOW
There are two (2) icon toolbars
appear in the window which are
(1) Close Form and
(2) Patient Profile

Select on the Close Form icon the
form will close. Choosing Patient
Profile the ER Clinical Form of the
patient will appear as shown. ER Profile Clinical Form Patient Window
NOTE: The three (3) toolbar icons
in the window that can also use
for Print Preview, Print or Close
form. Icons show below.
ER LOG – presents the list of patients currently admitted in the emergency room
department of the hospital (printable); serves as reference data.

DISCHARGE PATIENT
STEP1. Click on the Patient Search
toolbar to search the name of
the patient to be discharged.
STEP2. Click on the Log Patient icon and
the window appears.
STEP3
STEP3. Click on the Patient Record it will be
highlighted. Click on the Edit icon and the
window will appears.
STEP4. Click scroolbar go to Discharge
select Dispostion and condition
upon discharge of the patient.
Click on Save.

NOTE: Clicking on the Patient Profile you
can able to view and print it.

You will notice four (4) toolbars after saving, shown below.

EXAM RESULT- used to view an examination
result undergone by the patient.

REPORT – an information derived/statutory
report which assist hospital personnel and
management in performing their daily
functions; printable.

QUERY– a statistical hospital report; a referential tool useful to assess overall
ER performance; printable.
Query Window
DELIVERY – used to record deliveries received by the ER department.

I/O TRANS - used to record input(items received), and output (items transferred) in
the ER department.

ADJUSTMENTS – used to record adjustments in the ER department stocks on hand.

ER STOCK – used for ER Stock Maintenance (Drugs and Medicine / Medical
Supplies / Supplies and Equipment).
ER Stock Window
DRUGS/MEDICAL/EQUIPMENT – used to record stock request transactions to other
department within the hospital.
