To,
The Deputy Commissioner of Police,
Zone __, Nagpur.
Subject: Complaint Against Unlawful Interference of Police officials in a
Civil Property Matter.
Respected Sir/Madam,
I, Kunal Digambar Chimankar, residing at near Shiv Mandir Misal Layout Motha,
Jaripatka, Nagpur-440014. I am writing this letter to bring to your kind attention
an unlawful and unjust interference being caused in respect of a property that I
have been in peaceful possession of for over 30 years.
The property in question is situated at Plot no. 74 & 77, Misal Layout Motha,
Jaripatka, Nagpur- 440014, which I have occupied, maintained, and possessed
without interruption for more than three decades. I am the lawful occupant, and
my long-standing, continuous, and peaceful possession is a matter of record.
However, recently, one Mr. Anish Misal, who has no legal right, title, or interest
in the said property, has falsely claimed ownership and is now trying to
unlawfully interfere with my possession. Shockingly, this individual has also
managed to involve certain police officials in what is purely a civil dispute, and
they have begun harassing and threatening me at his behest.
A police officer of the Jaripatka Police Station, named Mr. Chandrashekhar
Gabhane, has been calling me to the police station repetitively, intimidating me
and is being biased towards the other party. The repetitive harassment calls and
visit to my home by the police officials is truly unlawful and such harassment by
your department’s officials is not bearable by a middle class man like me.
This misuse of police machinery to settle a civil property dispute is not only
unjustified but also a gross abuse of power and harassment of a law-abiding
citizen. I respectfully submit that the matter, if any, should be resolved through
the competent civil courts and not through police intervention or intimidation.
Hence, I humbly request your good office to kindly:
1. Inquire into the unauthorized interference by the concerned police
officials;
2. Direct the local police to refrain from taking any coercive or biased action
in a civil matter;
3. Ensure that I am not harassed further in relation to this baseless claim.
I sincerely hope that you will take appropriate action in the interest of justice and
to protect my lawful rights.
Yours sincerely.
