FINAL REQUIREMENT in BA 27 STARTEGIC MANAGEMENT


I. INTRODUCTION/BACKGROUND

1. Name of the Institution: Provide the full name of the organization being analyzed.
2. Business/Product Portfolio: List the main products or services offered by the
organization, highlighting its key business areas.

II. STRATEGIC PLATFORM

1. Vision Statement:
o Present the organization's vision statement.
o Analyze the extent to which the vision has been achieved, cite evidence or metrics.
2. Mission Statement:
o Analyze and present the organization's mission statement based from the template
provided.

III. ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS


A. External Analysis

Using the PESTLE Model, identify opportunities and threats from the following external
forces and trends:

1. Political Analyze political factors impacting the organization, such as government


policies or political stability.
2. Economic Evaluate economic trends, including inflation, and consumer spending, that
affect the organization.
3. Social Discuss societal and cultural trends influencing the organization and its
stakeholders.
4. Technological Examine relevant technological advancements and their implications
for the organization.
5. Legal Assess laws, regulations, and compliance requirements affecting the
organization.
6. Other Environmental Forces (if applicable): Consider additional forces such as
demographic shifts, environmental sustainability, or globalization trends.

B. Internal Analysis

Select one model/framework to analyze the internal environment:

1. Resource-Based View (VRIO Framework):


o Identify the organization's key resources and capabilities.
o Analyze whether these resources provide a sustained competitive advantage
(valuable, rare, inimitable, organized).
2. Value-Chain Analysis:
o Examine the primary and secondary activities in the value chain.

3. SW Analysis:
o Summarize the organization's Strengths and Weaknesses.
