GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Each student will complete an individual project
consisting of 3 structured pages/sections:
• The output should demonstrate understanding
of Jose Rizal’s life, works, and relevance to
present society through visual, historical, and
reflective analysis.
PAGE 1: INFOGRAPHIC (RIZAL
CONTENT)
Create an infographic that includes:
• Brief biography of Jose Rizal
• Summary of Noli Me Tangere (main issue + message)
• Summary of El Filibusterismo (main issue + message)
• Key ideas/advocacies of Rizal
• Relevance of Rizal in today’s society
FOCUS: Must be clear, organized, and content-based (not purely
decorative)
PAGE 2: HISTORICAL FIGURE
REPRESENTATION
• Choose ONE historical or literary figure related to
Jose Rizal and create a simple visual
representation of that character/person through a
costume, props, or symbolic imitation.
• You are expected to “gayahin” o “i-represent” ang
itsura, papel, o simbolismo ng napiling historical
figure (not full acting performance, only visual
representation).

• Jose Rizal (student / writer / exile / reformist stage)
• Leonor Rivera
• Marcelo H. del Pilar
• Graciano Lopez Jaena
• Josephine Bracken
• Simoun / Ibarra (or any literary characters)
• You can also portray his friends, family, romances;
• Or anyone related to him
Instruction:
1. Visual Representation
• Wear simple costume OR use available items at
home/classroom
• Must reflect the identity of the chosen figure
2. Identity Explanation (Short)
• Include a short written explanation:
• Who are you representing?
• What does your appearance represent?
• What is your role in Rizal’s life or works?
• IMPORTANT RULE: The goal is NOT
perfect costume design or acting skills. The
goal is to show understanding of the
historical figure’s identity and role in Rizal’s
life or literature.
• REMINDER: Creativity is allowed, but must
remain respectful and historically based.

-I am Leonor Rivera, the childhood love of Dr. José
Rizal. I lived during the Spanish colonial period in the
Philippines and maintained a long-distance
relationship with Rizal while he was studying abroad.
-I played an important role in Rizal’s life because I
inspired many of his letters and emotional
expressions. Our separation due to distance and
family decisions became one of the emotional
influences behind his writings.
-I represent love, sacrifice, and separation during a
time when Filipinos had limited freedom. My story
reflects how personal relationships were affected by
colonial society.

INFLUENCED MESSAGE)
• a reflection addressing the present generation (students, youth, or
society) based on Rizal’s teachings and your chosen historical
figure.
Guide Questions:
• What lesson from Rizal is most important for today’s generation?
• What social issue today is similar to Rizal’s time?
• What change do you want to see in society after learning this
subject?
FOCUS: Reflection must show understanding, not just summary
RULES
• Legal/Long size paper only (Portrait, not Landscape)
• Handwritten or printed (clean and readable)
• Must be neat and organized
• Must occupy 3 full pages only
• No extra pages allowed
COMPILATION PROCESS
• All outputs will be collected by the Class Representatives
• Arranged properly (alphabetical or section order)
• Will be soft bound as ONE booklet per section

PAGE 1: INFOGRAPHIC (40%)
• Content accuracy (Rizal, Noli, El Fili) – 20 pts
• Organization and clarity – 10 pts
• Relevance and insight to present society – 10 pts
PAGE 2: HISTORICAL FIGURE REPRESENTATION (30%)
• Accuracy of identity/role – 15 pts
• Explanation quality (clarity + understanding) – 10 pts
• Creativity and presentation – 5 pts
PAGE 3: REFLECTION (30%)
• Depth of reflection – 15 pts
• Connection to Rizal’s ideas – 10 pts
• Relevance to present society – 5 pts
