Welcome to Building Scalable Java Microservices with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud!
This
course will help you integrate Google Cloud services with your Java applications.
What are Spring Boot and Spring Cloud?
The Spring Framework is an open-source application framework for Java. Spring Boot is a
solution that makes it easier to build Spring Framework applications. Spring Boot adopts the
"convention over configuration" paradigm, which means that developers should only have to
specify unusual aspects of the applications they build. Spring Boot autoconfigures as much as
possible using sensible defaults. Spring Cloud makes Google Cloud services available to Spring
Framework applications.
What to expect during this training course?
During this training course, you will be presented with an overview of using Spring with Google
Cloud and a hands-on lab in which you use Spring Boot with Secret Manager.
In order to get the best training experience, please ensure that you are prepared:
You must already know the Java programming language. You should have a general familiarity
with Google Cloud. You should also have familiarity with the kinds of business problems that
companies typically build enterprise software to solve.
