POST TITLE: PROJECT MANAGER: PROJECT MANAGEMENT (2 POSTS)
SALARY: R 1 059 105 PER ANNUM – level 12 (All-inclusive remuneration package to be structured in
accordance with the rules of the Middle Management Services)

REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate must be in possession of a Bachelor’s degree or NQF level 7 qualification as recognised by SAQA
in Project Management/ Built Environment coupled with a minimum of 3 years’ junior management experience in project
management/ built environment and a valid code 8 driver’s license.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will be required to provide engineering services within the Infrastructure Directorate
supporting programme and project management with the following responsibilities:- Manage the support; co-ordination
and implementation of project interventions at municipal level; Support infrastructure project business planning;
Monitor, evaluate and report progress in implementation of interventions; Support financial management of
infrastructure development programmes; Develop policies and strategies aimed at improving service delivery; Manage
the resources of the sub-directorate.
