SECTION A – WORD PROCESSING (40 Marks)

Using a Word Processing Package such as Microsoft Word, type the following passage exactly as

THE IMPORTANCE OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY IN MODERN EDUCATION

Digital technology has transformed the way students learn and teachers deliver lessons.
Computers, tablets and the internet have made information more accessible than ever before.
Students can now conduct research online, collaborate with classmates, and submit
assignments electronically.

In schools today, word processors help students prepare assignments and reports. Spreadsheet
programs assist in analyzing data and performing calculations, while presentation software
allows students to present their ideas clearly using slides, images and charts.

Learning digital skills prepares students for the modern workplace. Many careers now require
knowledge of computers, data processing and communication technologies. Therefore, schools
must ensure that students acquire practical digital literacy skills.

Apply the following formatting:
