JEE PREP
Complete 7-Day Routine & Roadmap
4 Classes/Day • Gym Morning • Sleep Reset Included
📌 This document is your operating system for JEE. Print it. Pin it. Set every alarm listed. The
plan only works if you execute it without negotiating with yourself.
SECTION 1 — THE PHILOSOPHY
Before the schedule, understand the logic behind it.
Why this structure works
• 4 online classes = ~4 hours of video. Spread into 2+2 blocks so your brain doesn't fatigue.
• Each class block is immediately followed by a problem-solving revision — this is how concepts actually
stick (active recall).
• Gym in the morning is NOT flexible. Morning exercise boosts BDNF, which directly improves memory and
focus for the rest of the day.
• Sleep reset is built in because bad sleep kills memory consolidation. You can study 10 hours on garbage
sleep and retain less than 5 hours on proper sleep.
• Error logging is non-negotiable. JEE is won by fixing mistakes, not by watching more lectures.
⚡ The total active study time per day = ~8.5 hours. This is the right amount. More than 10 hrs
= diminishing returns + burnout. Less than 7 hrs = too slow to cover syllabus.
SECTION 2 — DAILY ROUTINE (Monday to Friday)
This is your default daily schedule for weekdays. Apply it every single day without modification.

⚠️ RULE: Never skip Revision Blocks to 'watch more classes'. One class understood deeply
beats three classes watched passively.
SECTION 3 — WEEKLY SUBJECT ROTATION
Each day your online classes will cover a topic — map the class to the subject rotation below. Saturday is full
mock test. Sunday is recovery and catchup.

Saturday — Mock Test Protocol
• 3-hour full-length mock. Set timer. No breaks. Simulate real exam conditions.
• After test: score yourself. Categorise every wrong answer as: Silly mistake / Concept gap / Never studied.
• Silly mistakes → slow down. Concept gaps → revisit notes. Never studied → schedule into next week.
Sunday — Recovery Protocol
• No new topics on Sunday. This is the rule.
• Re-attempt every question you got wrong in Saturday's mock.
• Update your Error Notebook with patterns from the week.
• Sleep 1 hour extra if needed — but still wake by 6 AM max.
SECTION 4 — FULL ALARM SCHEDULE
Save every alarm below in your phone TONIGHT with the exact label. Labels matter — they tell you what to do
the moment you hear the alarm.
ALARM TIME LABEL (save this in phone) ACTION
⏰ 5:00 AM WAKE UP ALARM 1 Main alarm. Get up immediately.
⏰ 5:10 AM WAKE UP ALARM 2 Backup. If still in bed, you're already late.
⏰ 8:25 AM CLASS PREP 5 min before first class. Notebook ready.
⏰ 10:30 AM BREAK BELL Stop class. Stand up. Eyes off screen.
⏰ 10:45 AM REVISION START No delays. Open problem set.
⏰ 12:15 PM LUNCH Hard stop on revision. Go eat.
⏰ 12:55 PM CLASS PREP 2 5 min before afternoon class.
⏰ 3:00 PM BREAK BELL 2 Class ends. Take break.
⏰ 3:15 PM REVISION START 2 Second revision block begins.
⏰ 5:15 PM FORMULA DRILL Switch to flashcard/concept review.
⏰ 7:00 PM PRACTICE START PYQ / mock test begins. Timed.
⏰ 8:30 PM ERROR LOG Stop solving. Open error notebook.
⏰ 9:00 PM WEAK TOPIC One focused deep dive session.
⏰ 10:00 PM WIND DOWN Prep for next day. No new topics.
⏰ 10:30 PM SLEEP ALARM Phone goes face-down. Eyes closed.
📱 How to set alarms correctly: Open Clock → Add alarm → Set time → Tap the label field → Type
exactly what's in the LABEL column above → Enable repeat: Mon–Sun.
SECTION 5 — SLEEP RESET PROTOCOL
Your sleep is cooked. Here's how to fix it in 5–7 days without melatonin or anything external.
SLEEP RULE WHY IT WORKS
No screens after 10:15 PM Blue light delays melatonin. Phone face-down.
Room must be dark Black out window or eye mask. Darkness = faster sleep.
Same sleep time EVERY night 10:30 PM. Even weekends. Your brain needs rhythm.
Same wake time EVERY day 5:00 AM. Non-negotiable. Even if you slept late.
No lying in bed before sleep Bed = only sleeping. Don't doom-scroll in bed.
If can't sleep in 20 mins Get up, sit quietly, no screens. Return when sleepy.
First 3 days will be hard Push through. By day 5, the rhythm sets in.
The 5-Day Reset Plan
• Day 1–2: You'll feel tired by 9 PM. Good. Don't sleep early. Push to 10:30 PM.
• Day 3: You'll feel the urge to sleep by 10 PM. Still push to 10:30 PM.
• Day 4–5: Your body starts waking up closer to 5 AM naturally. This is the reset working.
• Day 6–7: The rhythm is set. 5 AM wake feels normal. 10:30 PM sleep feels natural.
🚨 The only thing that will ruin the reset: sleeping in on weekends. Even one day of waking at
9 AM resets your circadian rhythm back to square one. Protect the 5 AM alarm like your rank
depends on it — because it does.
SECTION 6 — THE NON-NEGOTIABLE RULES
These 10 rules are the difference between someone who follows a routine and someone who actually cracks JEE.
• Rule 1: The alarm goes off → you are standing up within 2 minutes. No exceptions.
• Rule 2: Gym does not get skipped. Energy levels on gym days vs rest days will tell you everything.
• Rule 3: Social media only after 6 PM, max 30 minutes. Never in the morning.
• Rule 4: Every wrong answer gets written in the Error Notebook with the reason it was wrong.
• Rule 5: You watch the class ONCE. Then you do problems. Rewatching = passive and slow.
• Rule 6: Saturday mock is sacred. No exceptions, no pushbacks, no 'I'll do it next week'.
• Rule 7: Sunday is for recovery and fixing mistakes. Not for watching new lectures.
• Rule 8: Water bottle on desk always. Dehydration kills focus silently.
• Rule 9: No new topic after 10 PM. Night brain doesn't retain new concepts well.
• Rule 10: Track your mock scores weekly. If a subject is flat for 2 weeks, change the approach.
FINAL NOTE — The students who crack JEE are not the ones who studied the most hours.
They're the ones who showed up consistently, fixed their mistakes daily, and didn't negotiate
with themselves. This schedule gives you everything. The only variable is execution.
