Module IV

Module IV covers various aspects of environmental chemistry, focusing on water quality, treatment processes, and chemical analysis. Key topics include hardness of water, reverse osmosis, chemical oxygen demand (COD), dissolved oxygen, sewage treatment, and disinfection methods. The module also includes calculations related to water hardness and biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), as well as discussions on ion exchange processes and the impact of pollutants.
