Performance Task: Injury Awareness Collage

Objective:
Students will demonstrate their understanding of different types of injuries and protective factors by
creating a visual collage that communicates safety awareness.

USE LONG BONDPAPER

Task Description:

1. Create a collage using magazine cut-outs, printed images, or drawings.

2. The collage should include:

o Examples of intentional injuries (at least 3).

o Examples of unintentional injuries (at least 2).

o Protective factors that help prevent intentional injuries (e.g., family support, conflict
resolution skills, community programs). Give at least 4.

3. Include captions or labels to explain each image or section of the collage.

4. Make the collage visually appealing and easy to understand.

On top of your collage, you may use the theme below or make your own theme

• “Prevent Injuries, Protect Life” or “Stay Safe, Stay Healthy.”
