Essay for Review
In recent years, technology are changing the way people learn in many
different ways, especially in higher education. Online learning become
more popular after the COVID-19 pandemic and many universities has
moved their courses into online platforms. Some people believe that
online learning is better than traditional learning, while others think
it cannot replace face to face classes. This essay will discuss about both
views and give my opinion.
On the one hand, online learning have several advantages. Firstly, it
give students more flexibility because they can study anytime and
anywhere they want. For example, students who have a job can still
continue their study without attend classes physically. Secondly, online
learning can saves a lot of money since students do not need to pay for
transportation or accommodation. Moreover, there is many online
resources which helps students to improve their knowledge faster and
more effective.
On the other hand, there is also many disadvantages of online
learning. One of the main problem is lack of interaction between
teacher and students. In traditional classroom, students can ask

question immediately but in online learning it is more difficult to do
that. This make students feel less motivated and sometimes confused
about the lesson. Another issue is that online learning require strong
self-discipline, but many students does not have this ability so they
easily distracted. Also, some students do not have a good internet
connection or devices, this create inequality between learners.
In my opinion, online learning is useful but it should not replace
completely traditional learning. A blended learning approach are
more suitable because it combine the benefits of both methods.
Students can enjoy flexibility and also have interaction with teachers
and classmates. Teachers should be provide more support and
guidance to help students adapt with online learning environment.
In conclusion, although online learning have many advantages, it also
have several problems that need to be considered carefully. Therefore,
using both online and offline learning together is the best solution for
improve education in the future.
