Data Analytics Process: Real-World Application

We use Data Analytics in our day-to-day life with or without knowingly. The following are
the steps in the data analytics approach (PLAN, PREPARE, PROCESS, ANALYZE,
SHARE and ACT).

EXAMPLE: Selecting a college for pursuing a UG degree.

PLAN: Firstly, I need to select/decide which stream I would like to study.


Whether it could be Engineering or Arts (B.E/[Link] or [Link].,)

PREPARE: Next I need to decide how much money my parents can afford
for that particular degree.

PLAN: Then, I need to check whether the course has any entrance exams.

ANALYZE: Then I need to analyze in which location I want to study and


enquire about the college reviews, courses, placement records, hostel facility,
and fee details. Whether it better suits my career or not.

SHARE: Then I want to share my interest and ideas to my parents and start
applying.

ACT: Once everything is finalized with parents’ approval along with fees and
everything, we can Enrol in the college.
