The General Assembly,
Alarmed by rising global temperatures caused by the world-wide emission of carbondioxide
from common sources such as fossil fuels, forest fires and industrial production, deeply
concerned about the irreversible damages that may possibly occur if usage doesn’t drop,
Contemplating the creation of global comissions to ensure suitable punishments are given to
prevent global warming, desiring specially created global alliances to impose regulations on
carbon emitting factors,
Expressing its satisfaction of the increase in renewable energy sources, believing that carbon
emission from the usage of fossil fuels will decrease greatly by 2030 according to the
Sustainable Developement Goals,
Aware of the devastating amount of water wasted everyday globally, seeking immediate
attention to reduce water waste,
Noting with deep concern the growth in water pollution rates; welcoming global comissions,
agencies, groups and such, expressing its appreciation of state and non-state efforts to clean
water sources.
Possible Actions,
1. Confirms that the most common energy sources used by regular folk of today are fossil
fuels which release carbon into the atmosphere, reaffirms that contiunous usage of said fuels
are causing global warming.
a. Global cooperation upon agreeing to implement strict control over activities that
result in carbon emissions and global warming should be achieved.
i. Actions that result in carbon emissions such as deforestation, forest fires and
fossil fuel usage must be regulated by this global cooperation.
ii. Local committees should be created to measure local carbon amounts and start
projects to lower if its above expectations.
b. Nations must acknowledge innovative ways of energy resources and modifying
current ways of their people, with the following parameters,
i. Fossil fuel-based vehicles will be replaced with electric-based, sustainable or
public transportation options.
ii. Electrical heaters can be utilized in building heating systems instead of fossil
fuels.
iii. Switching over to green energy rather than unrenewable sources.
2. Recommends stricter attention to higher scale carbon emitters such as industrial production
companies, oil refineries, larger scale transportation and factories, regulated by government.
a. Global, unbiased comissions can be created by every nation to regulate and punish
carbon emittors acting outside the given limits.
3. Strongly supports investments renewable energy souce usage in place of fossil fuels,
economically backs up countries willing to make a change.
a. The countries that pick renewable energy sources must follow their Sustainable
Developement Goals to achieve world peace by the year 2030.
4. Adopts policies, laws and regulations regarding water waste and lowering the global waste
as much as possible.
a. Usage of AI can be regulated and lowered by discouraging people to use them.
b. Education about water waste, its effects and prevention must be given to everybody
regardless of age.
c. More efficient techniques can be adapted into farming and lowering water used by
farmers.
5. Congratulates state and non-state parties that are committed to water pollution reducing
activities that include cleaning and prevention, suggests other parties to follow tha same path
by bringing more attention to the importance of water.
a. Local contests can be held to encourage people into cleaning nearby water sources.
