1. Learning today is very different from my grandfather’s time.

In the past, students learned

mainly from teachers and books, but now they have modern tools. Learning today is easier and
more convenient because students can study anytime and anywhere. Besides teachers and
textbooks, students use computers, smartphones, and the Internet to learn. Learning has become
more independent, and students today have better learning conditions and more opportunities
than before.
2. Many years ago, children had simple pastimes. They often played outdoors with friends after
school. They enjoyed games like hide and seek, flying kites, marbles, hopscotch, and tug of war.
Their toys were simple, such as handmade dolls or wooden toys. Today, children spend more
time watching TV or using phones and computers. In my opinion, past pastimes were better
because they helped children stay active and communicate more with friends.
