Liver Function Test (LFT) – Normal Ranges

LFT evaluates liver health and function.

Parameter

Normal Range

 Total Bilirubin - 0.2 – 1.2 mg/dL

 Direct (Conjugated) Bilirubin - 0.0 – 0.3 mg/dL
 Indirect Bilirubin - 0.2 – 0.8 mg/dL
 Alanine Aminotransferase (ALT/SGPT) - 7 – 56 U/L
 Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST/SGOT) - 10 – 40 U/L
 Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP) - 44 – 147 U/L
 Total Protein - 6.0 – 8.3 g/dL
 Albumin - 3.5 – 5.0 g/dL
 Globulin - 2.0 – 3.5 g/dL
 Albumin/Globulin Ratio - 1.0 – 2.2
 Gamma-Glutamyl Transferase (GGT) - 9 – 48 U/L

2. Renal Function Test (RFT) – Normal Ranges

These parameters evaluate kidney function.

Parameter

Normal Range

 Urea (Blood Urea Nitrogen) - 7 – 20 mg/dL

 Creatinine - 0.6 – 1.3 mg/dL
 Uric Acid - 3.5 – 7.2 mg/dL (men), 2.6 – 6.0 mg/dL (women)

 Calcium - 8.5 – 10.5 mg/dL
 Phosphate - 2.5 – 4.5 mg/dL

3. Lipid Profile – Normal Ranges

Lipid profile measures fat levels in blood and helps assess cardiovascular
risk.

Parameter
