Subject- Noun/Pronoun
Object- Noun/Pronoun
Complement- Noun/ Pronoun/ Adjective/ Participle (Present,Past)
1. Subject + Verb
Used for simple actions.
Example:
I run.
She sleeps.
They work.
2. Subject + Verb + Object
Used when the action affects something.
Example:
I read books.
She drinks tea.
He plays cricket.
3. Subject + Verb + Complement
Used with linking verbs like is, am, are, become, seem.
Example:
I am happy.
She is a teacher.
He becomes strong.
4. Subject + Verb + Object + Object
Used when two objects are involved.
Example
I give him a book.
She teaches us English.
He sends me a message.
5. Subject + Verb + Object + Complement
Example:
They made him captain.
We elected her leader.
6. Subject + Verb + Adverb
Example:
She sings beautifully.
He runs fast.
They work hard.
7. Subject + Verb + Object + Adverb
Example:

Quick tip:
Transitive verb → needs an object. Example: She reads a book.
