SKIT

Title: “Across Time, One Lesson”

Characters:

Teacher

Student 1, Student 2, Student 3

Subhas Chandra Bose

Mary Kom

Neeraj Chopra

Scene 1 – The Chaos

(Three students are shouting, throwing paper, laughing. Total chaos.)

Teacher: Silence! Silence, class!

(No one listens.)

Student 1: Ma’am, he took my pen!

Student 2: She started it!

Student 3: This class is so boring!

Teacher (exhausted): I’ve tried everything… rules, punishments, advice… but you children just don’t
understand discipline.

(She sighs, sits on a chair.)

Teacher: Maybe… discipline just doesn’t matter anymore.

(Lights dim. Soft background sound. Teacher freezes.)

Scene 2 – Entry of Subhas Chandra Bose

(Subhas Chandra Bose enters, walking confidently.)

Bose: “Discipline is the backbone of the army. Without discipline, the army is nothing.”

(He looks at the audience.)

Bose: Do you recognise who I am?

I am Subhas Chandra Bose — a soldier of freedom.

(Walks slowly, observing the classroom.)

Bose: In my time, discipline was not a choice… it was our strength.

We woke before sunrise, trained for hours, followed orders with respect.

Because a disciplined nation can never be defeated.

(He exits. The students continue fighting, unaware.)

Scene 3 – Entry of Mary Kom

(Mary Kom enters, with boxing gloves or confident posture.)

Mary Kom: I am Mary Kom — a boxer, a fighter, and a dreamer.

(To audience)

Mary Kom: People saw only my medals, not my discipline.

Waking up early, training even when tired, falling and rising again.

Discipline taught me patience… discipline taught me victory.

(She looks at the students.)

Mary Kom: Talent may begin a journey, but discipline finishes it.

(She exits. Students still clueless.)

Scene 4 – Entry of Neeraj Chopra

Modern Personality: Hello everyone. I am Neeraj Chopra.

(To audience)

Neeraj Chopra: In today’s world of speed and screens, discipline matters more than ever.

Self-control, time management, teamwork — these are the real trophies.

Without discipline, success doesn’t last.

(He steps aside.)

Final Scene – The Lesson

(Subhas Chandra Bose and Mary Kom re-enter. All three stand together.)

Bose: Discipline builds character.

Mary Kom: Discipline builds champions.

Neeraj Chopra: Discipline builds the future.

(Teacher and students suddenly “unfreeze”. The room becomes silent.)

Teacher (surprised): What just happened?

Student 1 (softly): Ma’am… maybe discipline does matter.

Student 2: We’re sorry, ma’am. We’ll try.

(All three guests step forward together.)

All Three Together (final line):

“Times may change, but discipline is the one power that shapes every great life.”
(Lights fade. End.)
