Ad 1. A command.
It is we ask someone to do something. You can express by :
a. V1 + O ! Positive command
b. Be + Adjective / adv / Noun !
Use “please” at the beginning or the last to show politeness.
Ex :
Stop your activity now!
Check the cord before using the computer.
Be serious to do the test!
Please answer your test carefully!
Take 2 capsules twice a day, please!
c. Don’t + V1 + O ! Negative Command
Be + Adjective / adv / Noun ! or prohibition.
Use “please” at the beginning or the last to show politeness.
Ex :
Don’t eat too much! You will get stomached.
Don’t be noisy, please! The test is going on.
For an example:

Ad 2. A request and an invitation
It is we ask someone else to do something that we want.
It is more polite than a command.
An invitation is we invite someone to come.
You can express a request and invitation by:

Ex :
Can you lower the volume of your tape?
Will you type this report for me?
Would you like to show me how to turn on the LCD?

An offer:
You look busy with your luggage. Can I bring it?

A permission:
