What is a Relative Clause?

A relative clause gives more information about a noun.


It usually begins with a relative pronoun such as:

who – which – that – whose – where – when

Add the correct relative pronoun (who, which, that, whose, where, when).

1. The woman _______ lives next door is a doctor.


2. I visited the museum _______ has ancient Roman statues.
3. The car _______ he bought last week is very expensive.
4. This is the student _______ notebook you borrowed.
5. The restaurant _______ we ate yesterday was delicious.
6. I’ll never forget the day _______ I met you.
