Preparation for Python Programming Class

Equipment

1. Laptop - to run Python


2. Second device1 - to see my shared screen

Download and Installation of Software

 Python can be accessed by downloading the Anaconda software.

o Click on the download button

o Select the device type (Mac or Windows)

 Download Zoom Meeting App to the device that runs Python.

Zoom Classes

 Here are the two meeting links:

o First link to be opened on your laptop with Python (and share screen) so I can
see what the student is doing and guide them through the session.

o Second link to be opened on a second device. Here, I will share my screen so the
student can see what I am doing.

You may also use the same device to see my shared screen. You can have both Zoom and Google Meets
open. However, this is only recommended if your child has a two monitor set-up. Otherwise, it is
recommended to have two separate devices so the child can see my screen and their screen at the same time.
