THE FIRST CONDITIONAL
To imagine a future situation, use a first conditional sentence. It has two parts:
Cause:
If + subject + present simple verb
If I study enough...
Consequence:
subject + will + infinitive verb (without to)
... I will become an astronaut.
If I study enough, I will become an astronaut.
You can swap the order of the two parts:
I will become an astronaut if I study enough.
