ADOBE INDESIGN

Adobe InDesign is a desktop publishing software application


produced by adobe systems. It can be used to create works
such as posters, flyers, brochures, magazines, newspapers,
portfolio and books or eBooks. Graphic designing and
production are the principal users, creating and layout
periodical publications, posters and print media elements. It
also supports some formats to create eBooks and digital
publications, including digital magazines and content suitable
for consumption on tablet and computer.

InDesign is the successor to page maker and quark x-press and


it is the original desktop publication software. It is a page layout
software program available as a standalone package or in some
of the editions of the Adobe creative suite.

InDesign CS6 features :-


Create form fields within InDesign before export to PDF.
Split window view for side by side comparison of layouts in
same documents Middle Eastern language support, persistent
text frame fitting option Grayscale preview recently used fonts
at top of font list pages panel enhancement, grayscale PDF
export, Export to PNG or JPG, enhancement to several other
features.
When we are working on web only pixels are used.
