Objective of the Program


The primary objective of the Faculty Development Program was to enhance faculty knowledge
and skills in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, and
Prompt Engineering, enabling them to integrate innovative AI practices into teaching,
research, and academic activities.
Summary of the Program
The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems successfully organized a Five
Days Faculty Development Program on “Innovative AI and the Science of Prompt
Engineering” under the banner of IIC 8.0, in collaboration with Magic Bus India Foundation.

The program commenced with an offline session on the Fundamentals of Artificial


Intelligence, providing participants with a strong conceptual foundation. The second day
focused on Generative AI and Large Language Models, offering insights into emerging AI
technologies and real-world applications.

The online sessions covered advanced topics such as Machine Learning techniques, Deep
Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Prompt Engineering. The resource persons
explained concepts with practical examples, demonstrations, and interactive discussions.
Participants actively engaged in the sessions and clarified their doubts related to AI tools and
methodologies.
Outcomes of the Program
 Enhanced faculty understanding of AI, ML, DL, NLP, and Prompt Engineering
 Improved awareness of Generative AI and LLM-based applications
