1-DIMENSIONAL ANALYSIS
Exercise -1:
Question : A one dimensional (1-D) steel rod as shown in Figure below, perform
the 1-D structural analysis on this component and find out the stress and
deformation value. (all linear dimensions are in mm)
Aim: To analyse the given structure by varying different cross sections using
one dimensional link element using NX- CAD and CAE.
Assumptions:
1. Material considered as steel (Use software materials library)
2. Uniform cross section of [Link] is considered
3. The following cross sections are analysed.
Bar, circular, hollow, I, C, T or other sections cross section,
