Unit 1:
* Present simple ( Thì hiện tại đơn)
1. Form
a. Khẳng định
- I, you, we , they + V
- He, she , it + V+s / V+es
* Notes :
- Các động từ kết thúc là sh, ch, ss, o, x thì sang ngôi he, she, it thêm es
Eg : I wash  He washes
I watch  He watches
I go  He goes
I miss  He misses
- Sau các phụ âm k, p, f, t, θ, s được đọc là /s/
- Sau các trường hợp còn lại s được đọc là /z/
- Sau các phụ âm sh, ch, ss, x.. đuôi es được đọc là iz
- Những động từ tận cùng là phụ âm + y thì sang ngôi he, she, it y đổi thành i trước khi thêm es.
Eg : I study  He studies
- Những động từ tận cùng là nguyên âm + y, biến đổi bình thường khi sang ngôi he, she, it.
Eg: I play, he plays ....
b. Phủ định
- I, we, you, they don't + V
- He, she , it doesn't + V
c. Nghi vấn
- Do I / you/ we / they + V ?
- Does he/ she/ it +V?
* Adverb of frequency ( Trạng từ chỉ sự thường xuyên)
- Trạng từ chỉ sự tần suất (adverbs of frequency): cho biết sự việc xảy ra thường xuyên như thế nào :
always (luôn luôn), usually (thường), often (thường), sometimes (đôi khỉ, thỉnh thoảng), seldom (hiếm
khi), never (không bao giờ),...
Ex: He always does his work well. She has never done that before.
Các trạng từ này thường đứng trước động từ thường (go, hear,…) đứng sau động từ đặc biệt (be, can,
…) đứng giữa trợ động từ và động từ chính.
Ex: He is constantly in debt.
Unit 2: Possessive case ( Sở hữu cách) là một hình thức chỉ quyền sở hữu của một người đối với
một người hay một vật khác để từ đó làm rõ thêm cho đối tượng đang được nhắc đến.
Công thức:
Người làm chủ + 'S + vật/ người thuộc quyền sở hữu

1. We use ’s after a proper name. Chúng ta sử dụng ‘s sau một tên riêng.
Example: This is Elena’s room
2. We use ’s after a singular noun. Chúng ta sử dụng ‘s sau một danh từ số ít.
Example : This is my mum’s book.
 Prepositions of place Giới từ chỉ nơi chốn mô tả người hoặc vật đang ở đâu.
- Sau đây là một số giới từ chỉ nơi chốn.

cuối.
Eg : - sit  sitting

- Các động từ: die, lie, tie ... biến đổi như sau:
die  dying, lie  lying, tie  tying
2. The use
a. Diễn tả hành động đang diễn ra ở hiện tại, thường đi với at the moment, at present, now ( bây giờ ,
vào lúc này )
Eg : - I'm cooking at the moment.
