Introduction

SCENE 1: INTERVIEW (Paternal Bias – EXPANDED)

*(HR + Assistant sitting. Arjun enters. Slight nervousness.)*

Arjun
Good morning ma’am

**HR (fake smile):**

Hi Arjun… have a sit and introduce yourself.

Arjun: bal bal bal bal

**Assistant (whispering but audible):**

Decent lag raha hai… but married hai na?

**HR (checking file):**

Haan… (make a face)

**Arjun (hears it):**

Excuse me, ma’am?

**HR (sweet but sharp):**

Nothing, Arjun… just routine questions.
Are you committed?

**Arjun:**
Yes ma’am, married.

**HR:**
Kids?

**Arjun:**
Not yet.

**Assistant (quickly):**
“But planning soon?” *(raises eyebrow)*

**Arjun (awkward):**
I mean… eventually, yes.

**HR (leans forward):**

See Arjun, problem yeh hai… once men become fathers na… priorities change ho jaati hain.

**Assistant:**
Suddenly “family comes first”… office second.

**HR:**
Aur phir 6 mahine ki leave pe chale jaoge

**Arjun (trying to stay calm):**

But ma’am— ….. If required, yes. That’s my right.

**HR (cuts him sharply):**

We are not talking about your personal opinion. Company ko bhi right hai stability ka.

*(Small awkward silence.)*

*Arjun:**
My work and capabilities should define me, not—

**HR (interrupting, slightly mocking):**

Everyone says that in interview. Next!

**Narrator 2:**
*SCENE 2: AUTO STAND (Skill Bias – MORE LAYERS)*

**Riya (looking around):**

Nahi yaar… wait blue auto mei chalte hai.

Blue auto entry

**Riya (relieved):**
Aase pink auto pe bhrosa toh nahi kar sakte hai.. chalna aata nahi hai auto lekar utar aate hai yeh XY

rejected

Yaar aaj bahut hectic day tha…

**Mummy ji (without looking up):**

Chalo muh hath doke ab dinner banado

**Rohit:**
Thoda rest karlo pahle—

**Karan (mocking tone):**

Rest? Wow. Luxury.

**Rohit:**
Main bhi kaam karta hoon office mein!

**Mummy ji:**
Haan but tumhara kaam itna demanding nahi hota. Dekho, ghar ka kaam toh naturally adamiyo ko
karna hota hai.

*Mummy ji:**
Main bahar ka stressful kaam handle karta hoon. Dekho company sambhana tuum jaise teachers ko
aase pakta hoga tum toh bacche hi sambhal lo vohi bhut hai
Jao zara kam karo

**Narrator 2:**

Chai pe charcha

**Leader 1 (loud):**
Hamare desh ko strong workforce ki zarorat hai!

**Leader 2:**
Aur isliye—heavy workforce wale kam should be for women only!

**Leader 3:**
Construction, army, mechanics in sabme sirf woman honi chahiye!

**Crowd Member (confused):**

Aur adami kaha jaye bhai log?

**Leader 1 (dismissive):**
Adamiyo ke liye soft kam toh hai hi unhe vo in risky kamo ke liye nahi bane hai.
