APP DEVELOPMENT CONTRACT

1. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Developer agrees to design, develop, and deliver a mobile/web application for the
management of horse training and health records. The application will include features such as:
● Horse profile management
● Training session tracking and scheduling
● Health record maintenance
● Progress tracking and reporting

2. SCOPE OF WORK
2.1 Developer Responsibilities
● Application design and user interface development
● Backend development and database setup
● Testing and quality assurance
● Initial deployment and setup
● Documentation and user guides
● 2 weeks of post-launch support and bug fixes
2.2 Client Responsibilities
● Provide detailed requirements and specifications
● Timely feedback and approval of deliverables
● Provide necessary content, images, and data
● Coordinate any third-party integrations
● Final acceptance testing

4. COMPENSATION
Total Project Cost: $1,500
Payment Schedule:
● $500 due upon contract signing (down payment)
● $500 due upon core development completion (major milestone)
● $500 due upon final delivery and acceptance (completion)
Payment Terms: Net 15 days from invoice date
5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
5.1 Client Ownership
Upon final payment, the Client will own all rights to:
● The completed application and its source code
● All custom designs and graphics created for the project
● Project documentation and user guides
5.2 Developer Rights
The Developer retains rights to:
● General programming techniques and methodologies
● Pre-existing code libraries and frameworks
● Right to use project as portfolio example (with Client's permission)
6. CONFIDENTIALITY
Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information shared during the
project, including but not limited to business plans, technical specifications, and customer data.
7. REVISIONS AND CHANGES
7.1 Included Revisions
● Up to [X] rounds of revisions per milestone
● Minor bug fixes and adjustments within scope
7.2 Additional Work
Changes outside the original scope will be:
● Documented in writing before implementation
● Billed at $25/per hour
● Subject to timeline adjustments
8. TESTING AND ACCEPTANCE

Client has 14 business days from delivery to test and report any issues.
8.2 Acceptance Criteria
The application will be considered accepted when:
● All specified features are functional
● Application meets agreed-upon performance standards
● No critical bugs remain unresolved
9. SUPPORT AND MAINTENANCE
9.1 Included Support
● 2 weeks of post-launch support for bug fixes
● Technical support for deployment issues
● Basic user training/documentation
9.2 Ongoing Maintenance
Long-term maintenance and updates available at $[RATE] per [PERIOD] or hourly rate of $

10. WARRANTIES AND LIMITATIONS
10.1 Developer Warranties
● Application will be free from material defects for 90 days post-delivery

10.2 Limitations
The developer's liability is limited to the total contract amount. The developer is not responsible
for data loss, business interruption, or consequential damages.
11. TERMINATION
Either party may terminate this contract with [X] days written notice. In case of termination:

● Both parties return confidential materials
12. HOSTING AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
● Client is responsible for ongoing hosting costs

13. GENERAL TERMS
13.1 Governing Law
