Valeria: Welcome to “Inspiring Stories”!
Today we have Lucía Torres with us, one of the most
recognized voices in Latin America. Thank you for being here, Lucía!
Lucía: Thank you! It's an honor to be on this program.
Marco: Lucía, your career has been impressive. What have you accomplished so far?
Lucía: Well, you've already released five albums and won two Latin Grammy Awards.
You've also toured more than ten countries since two thousand nineteen.
Valeria: That's incredible! Did you always dream of being a singer?
Lucía: No, I actually wanted to be a doctor. However, everything changed when my
father gave me a guitar when I was fourteen. Since then, I haven't stopped composing.
Marco: Have you worked with other artists?
Lucía: Yes, I've already collaborated with artists like Pablo Alborán and Tini. But I
haven't recorded with Alejandro Sanz yet, and I'd love to!
Valeria: How long have you been singing professionally?
Lucía: For six years. I started in two thousand eighteen, right after finishing college.
Marco: And have you had any difficult times?
Lucía: Of course. During the pandemic, I couldn't perform live for over a year. It was
very hard. However, I wrote a lot of songs during that time.
Valeria: Have you ever acted?
Lucía: I've already made some cameos in TV series, but I haven't starred in a movie yet.
It's one of my next challenges!
Marco: I'm sure you'll make it! You're very talented.
Lucía: Thank you! I still have a lot to learn, but I've already had experiences I never
imagined.
Valeria: Lucía, it's been a pleasure having you with us. Thank you for sharing your story!
Lucía: Thank you. See you soon!
